I woke up early this morning and had a great run. I left the house about 5:40 and went north through the park, around the North Pond, then got on the lakefront going south at Fullerton just in time to watch the sunrise over the lake. Fantastic! I went south to Michigan Avenue, then back home north through the Gold Coast (with a quick bathroom break at the Ambassador East hotel). I kept an easy pace the entire time and just enjoyed the run. Tomorrow, I'm due for 8 miles, but since I went long on Tuesday, I may cut it short. We will see.
